Barbecued Pork Chops

4 butterfly pork chops
1 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. salad oil
1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 tsp. yellow mustard
3 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Brown pork chops. Mix onion, oil, tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, lemon juice, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper in bowl. Pour mixture into shallow casserole or roasting pan. Place pork chops on top, spooning some of the mixture over the top of chops. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until done. Serve with rice.
